Summer of Colour.........week 4.

This week's Summer of Color challenge is  RED + RED + METALLIC.    I've altered my first playing card.  I carefully chose the 2 of hearts so as to leave some of the card showing but as you can see, it's all covered.


My 2 reds are "bed of roses" mist which I painted onto the card after covering the bottom section with music paper and some patterned paper which is lighter red.   For my metallic I went with kitchen foil for the hearts.  I realized I have no metallic paints/mists etc so kitchen foil it was (scrumpled and painted).

    Great project.Wonderful idea to use aluminium foil for metallic.Would never have thought of that.:-)

    Works a treat. I'm almost more afraid of reds than purples....but of course, you make red sing [sorry. Pun]. AND I got a giggle out of your hearts that got covered...best laid plans and all that! AND the kitchen foil is FAB:):)
