Summer of Colour -

I spotted the Summer of Colour challenge on Mandy's blog and although it is into week 3,  I wanted to give it a go and perhaps go back and do week's 1 & 2 later.  So I decided to do a large tag with this week's colours  purple + purple + yellow.   Purple is not a colour I use much of at all so it certainly was a challenge.

So I went with a purple paint, a lighter shade of purple in a watercolour pencil and a light yellow.

and my tag......... I spread the paint over the manilla tag and also on a scrap of  white cardstock which I used for the banner across the top and the colours look so different.
