Creative Jumpstart 2015

This is my first year joining in with Creative Jumpstart and I am loving it.    I was finding it hard to get into anything scrappy/arty wise towards the end of last year until I started my December Daily  and now that I have finished that,  this was the perfect way to keep the mojo moving.

There is so much wonderful inspiration there the only problem was knowing what to do first. (maybe starting at #1 would have been an idea lol).  Following on from my art journal December Daily I thought I would start with the fabulous tutorial from Nat Kalbach which came in 2 parts.

and this is what I ended up with............

I began with 3 colours that I wouldn't normally put together.......well maybe the green and yellow but the purple is way out of my comfort zone.  This is the result of Part 1 of Nat's tutorial..........

and at this stage, I'm thinking why did I stencil on those huge pink roses??????? it was looking ok as it was.  lol

but then going on to Part 2 of the tutorial (and yes I know the roses are now upside down lol)  just me rushing to get onto the second part,  I was loving my background,  roses and all.
