Challenge 50 is now up at
LGS and it's all about BUTTONS. I decided to make a little "family favourites" album which leaves it quite open as to what it can be used for. Inside I have just made simple pages from kraft cardstock and turned up the bottom as a little pocket. I think it would be nice to have family recipes in it, so a receipe could be just written on paper by a family member and popped in the pocket with some details written on the front of the pocket.
I've glued on heaps of buttons around the edge of the front cover (cut from some book board)then gesso-ed over the top then started with the inks and paints and had a ball getting very messy.
and after adding a little cut-out house/flowers, more flowers, butterfly and a little button banner it was all done.....now my stash is a few buttons lighter. lol
We'd love you to play along with us at
LGS and show us your wonderful button creations.
Gorgeous job, Deb - specially loved how you've gessoed over the buttons...lovely, lovely effect:):)
