Challenge 47 is now up at
LGS. This month you need to choose a piece of shabby chic bone china/porcelain dinnerware and use this as inspiration for your creation and let us know where your inspiration came from. Well I chose this gravy boat from an old dinner set that belonged to my Mum. I can remember clearly from my childhood, this gravy boat sitting on the table especially for our Sunday roast lunch. I didn't like the roast but sure did like the gravy that Mum made.
The main inspiration for my layout came from the dividing lines on the gravy boat and the flower arrangement and I was also inspired to use some of the colours from the piece.
and a close up.......
tfl......we would love for you to join in with us at
LGS so pop on over and be inspired by what the rest of the DT have created for this challenge.
I LOOOOVE this challenge - such a creative one! And you can really see how you've used the inspiration....just gorgeous, & my very fave bit is how the line dividing is NOT straight...love that!!!! Lovely texture underneath the top there, too.....got me thinking, this one has:):):)!!!!!!!
