Challenge 44 is now up at
LGS and it is an Easter/Spring challenge. We would love you to join in with us. You need to show on your creation at least one item from each of the lists....a subject, an embellishment and a technique and tell us your choices on your blog. I thought I would make a little wall hanger to pop up over Easter. My choices from each list are 1. eggs (those little birdies there are actually tweetie birds not chickens) 2. ribbon, flowers, buttons and doily (the paper variety). 3. Painting, inking, distressing. (there is a wee bit of stamping on there as well but not very noticeable)
I made 3 little 5" squares from corrugated cardboard, painted with gesso and distressed and inked.
From scraps I've made the egg shapes and cut the tweetie birds from some patterned paper.
Then simply run a length of ribbon down the centre back of each of the squares and tidied the backs up by adding another 5" square of cardstock on the back of each one. tfl and looking forward to seeing you creations.
Beautifil wallhanger you have made so sweet .
