Challenge 43 is now up at
Let's Get Shabby and is my first challenge for them as a DT member. This month it is a gorgeous
picture to take inspiration from. As soon as I saw it I knew it was going to be about the colours and the frills on the dress for me. So I created a "little me" layout on a canvas. Pop on over and check out what the other Shabby girls have created.......just gorgeous and very inspirational. We would love for you to join in with us and show us your "shabby" creation.
and some close ups............This little embroidered flower was taken from the corner of an old hankie.
The frill cut and gathered from some tea dyed fabric. The background paper, crumpled and sanded.

Hi Deb! This is stunning, I love the ruffled ribbon around your layout, so vintagey and shabby.. The little pink flowers are a perfect touch too.. well done on your DT example!!
