Let's Get Shabby - challenge 12..............
The challenge this month at LGS is to base your project around paint, chipboard and lace. Another OTP for me (quite rare) lol but I decided to transform this box into a little keepsake box for my Grand-daughter for her kindy projects next year.
A little fence from those rub on sticks and some handcut grass that I watercoloured.
I painted the outside of the box with a pink paint then put a wash of antique white over the top and rubbed it back. It came a bit "creamier" than what I wanted but in the end I quite liked the overall creaminess with the white lace. I lined the inside of the box with some gingham fabric using spray adhesive and then hand drew and watercoloured the words for the inside lid.
