Challenge 7 is up at
lets get shabby and this time it's an inspiration challenge with a summer influence. I soooo luv'd the colours in this pic.......so inspiring. I just knew that I had kept this packaging from my DD's new dinner set for a reason......with a bit of yellow paint it made a perfect sun. (Well, at least, that is what I think it's supposed to be). I also added some cut up nylon bath sponge (thanks to Chimene's tutorial on one of her LO's a while back, I bought a couple of these sponges and put them in my "it could be handy" box). Made a perfect background.

Sponged some chippie alphas with brown, dark red and white and inked the edges in a dark brown. Made a little lollipop flower in the colours of the most obvious umbrella coz that is the first thing I thought of when I saw the pic I think......apart from the gorgeous colours. tfl
